Mental Health Counselor
Initial Phone Consultation
up to 30 minutes, free
Free phone consultation to determine if I'm a good fit, or if I have any referrals to share. I usually ask about your goals for therapy, and I encourage potential clients to ask me any questions about my practice.
50 minute session, $90
90 minute session, $120
I offer mental health counseling for individual adults coping with anxiety, depression, adjustment-related issues, trauma and post-traumatic stress.
Specific areas of focus may include processing social anxiety, seasonal depression, childhood trauma, generational trauma, ongoing systemic and institutional trauma, perinatal depression/anxiety, spirituality and faith transitions, trauma from past domestic violence, imposter syndrome and identity development.
Online counseling available for Oregon residents.
I reserve a few sliding scale spots for individuals experiencing financial challenges who are dedicated to attending therapy weekly. A weekly sliding scale wait-list is available if spots are full.
Payment is usually online through Stripe. Credit, debit and HSA cards are accepted.
At this time, I am not accepting insurance. Most insurance companies require a diagnosis that may remain on your permanent health record, which may affect the number of sessions you're able to receive for coverage. If your insurance accepts out-of-network providers, I can provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Session Cancellation Policies
In order for counseling to be effective, it is important that you attend all regularly scheduled appointments. If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. If you are to not show without having given 24-hour notice for two or more appointments, you risk losing your appointment slot. The fee rate is waived for the first no-show, but each following no-show will be charged the session fee. Exceptions can be made for illness or emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
